Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree.
8+ years of experience building full stack online products.
Expertise in Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and at least one major database platform (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

Management Responsibilities:
The Vice President of Technology will be responsible for building and managing a highly functional staff that includes the Web Development and the Information Technology Teams. This person will drive organizational change and improve efficiency through the use of leadership and technology.
Build strategic partnerships with key management and staff to understand and document company and department goals, objectives, priorities and business needs
Provide leadership, vision, and management to the Web Development Team and I.T. Team
Play an active role in tasks to include: product design, development, testing, troubleshooting, QA
Act as a strategic partner on organizational change and process reengineering efforts, representing the technology point of view and providing technology expertise
Facilitate the prioritization of technology work efforts to achieve key goals and objectives
Research and implement new technologies that maintain our status as an industry leader
Define best practice based IT service lifecycle and project methodology and work with management to integrate into existing company and department planning and budgeting processes
Manage technology projects and initiatives per the agreed to methodology
Manage technology systems through their lifecycle
Scale efficiencies with the internal IT infrastructure
Ensure profitability on projects from a technical perspective
Build, manage and continually improve a highly functional and efficient team to achieve agreed to goals
Define, collect and analyze support metrics to ensure support goals are being met, identify issues and implement continuous improvement
Maintain security plan for all IT and telecom systems that protects data and systems
Schedule and execute regular security system tests and oversee actions to resolve issues
Maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans
Develop and manage the technology expense budget to contribute to a cost effective operation
Continuously evaluate the feasibility and cost effectiveness of outsourcing various aspects of systems and processes. Oversee the vendor relationships that result from outsourcing opportunities. Negotiate effective service level agreements and oversee the ongoing management of these performance measures
Create, maintain and enforce written policies and procedures regarding all operations in the Technology Department.
Compile and review records to determine department productivity, quality of output and cost of service. Develop methods to continually improve results, QA and Audit Control processes
Advise the management team on strategic systems conversions and integrations in support of business goals and objectives
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
15 plus years of experience in enterprise architecture and project/program delivery
Agency/Consulting experience required
